Installing hydraulics on to a BMX bike!

I have an extra bike in my backyard and I was wondering if you can add hydraulics.

I'll add a joint to the front part of the frame so it can bend. When no force is applied it'll bend forward. Then when force is applied it snaps back into it's original position, making the bike hop.

Much like this...

But I think it will only lift the front wheel...Is there a way you can lift the entire bike off the ground?

Or can someone explain to me how hydraulics work in a lowrider car?

Ok, I have a diagram now and a new set up.

The frame will be disconnected from the wheels and welded to the hydraulic cylinders. The cyclinders are attached to the wheel's center. The wiring it set through the frame and on to the main board on the handle bars.

My question is, with a 6" hydraulic cylinder on both wheels, will the bike hop or just rise? Should I just add the hydraulic cylinders on the front wheel?

Would going 12" be too much for a BMX bike?

Hydraulics uses liquids, pneumatics uses gasses. Are you sure you want to use hydraulics because I think pneumatics would be much easyer to work with and will be lighter. This won't be very practical.Do you want to put a sound system on it aswell :P

You can buy special partf to make you bike a lowrider with pneumatic rams i have seen them in lowrider magazines they have there lowrder bike next to there car. The pneumatic ram is placed between the forks and the frame,i have been to a site that sells them but i cant seem to find it. I'll look in one of my magazines and find the site later.

If it would be pneumatic then I would have to use a gas. And gas compresses. Meaning no hopping...
