You're lucky they weren't Bald Faced Hornets like we have here in the states. A nest that size can kill a full grown man!

One hornet can kill you if you are allergic to the venom. Also, I think that one hornet can sting you multiple times. There were probably 50 to 70 hornets in this nest.
