That truly is awesome and would be quite an experience to fly.
It has to be some expensive piece of equipment, and if Im not mistaken those turbine jet engines are one used on large RC jets, to bad their like $2500 each.
Cannon Freak.

I have a littloe more infos than you guys......
The guys here is a captain for swissair , and has spent more than 200 000 € on this project. He developped a few wing types, and came with this last one, an inflatable wing, and he has a 6 min autonomy at full engine consumption. He can achieve speeds up to 330 Km/h. Each reactor have a pushing potential of 12 kg, but the entire man+ wing+ engine+fuel+ parachute weights 120 kg... He intends to find some very powerful engines , to permit a vertical take-off...
Some men realise their dreams.

That looks like a lot of fun. I wish I had the funding to do crazy stuff like that. I read in PopSci about this guy who made a jetpack that lets him fly around his backyard, but he stays on a tether.

what kind of aplications do you think this can be used for beside just being awesome. maybe the military could use it since it probely is too small for radar, but i don't know much about steath technology

the military has made a real Jet Pack and it hav go 50 ftin the air and hover as well move around.
