The dry ice may be a good idea. True, cold CO2 isn't the best pneumatic propellant, but at 800 psi or so it should be pretty powerful. You wouldn't really need to worry about breaking the pipe either. I would try this, but 500 psi is enough for me, and I don't need to buy dry ice to get it.

you can push that way farther than 100psi in a full steel pnuematic. I can easily put 120psi in my pneumatic without any leaks, or any signs of explosions. I will conduct a test with a PVC scarp capsule soon.

Ok, about the psi in that gun. The filling mechanism looks like the weakest part. But all the other parts (including the ball valve) are rated to at least 450psi. Be safe but you could crank the pressure like crazy. Check the rating on the air input but you should be about to take it up to 300 PSI safely.

Im adding another section for the chamber, a longer barrel and a qev this weekend. And I will be getting rid of some of that dead space. Cant wait to paint it. Ill probably put some kind of barrel shroud on it too. Its gonna be wicked when Im done.

When you fill it with air, then spray the joints with a mix of Dish soap in a spray bottle! The bubbles will tell you where the leaks are. 8)
