Nice how much experience do you have with air cannons. If its a first, then it is really quite impressive. I still havent built anything that powerful :(

i dunno about a turret, because i love the trill of shooting it, but yeah i defiantly want to make a handle for it and have it look more aesthetically pleasing. anyone have any ideas? i was thinking about maybe something like joel's tee shirt launchers.

If I were you I would pilot it with something much bigger like a 2inch ball valve.

Not at all necessary.

I'm piloting a 2" sprinkler with a 3/8" ball valve and it works just fine.

I'm pretty pretty sure a 3/4" QEV can vent quicker than a 2" ballvalve.

Somehow, the standard "nice gun" reponse doesn't quite cut it here :)
anyone have any ideas?
Here are two ideas if you are looking to add a handle.
You could make these out of bondo or wood, but bondo would be easier because you can form it around the blowgun and tubing.

And no, I don't think you need a bigger pilot valve. The qev seems to work fine.
