Sorry for these noob questions, but i need them answered quickly.
1) would a 1/2 inch barrel choke flow from a 1 inch sprinkler valve?
2) would a small chamber like 20 inches of 1 inch pvc be able to lob something a fair distance like a 100 meters out of a 1/2 inch barrel a meter and a half long? (70-110 psi)
Thanks.

1. Depends how big the chamber is, but the chamber mentioned in 2 would be fine, no flow restriction
2. More details please
You didnt give a pressure
but assuming 100psi, yes it will

1. Wouldn't effect preformance DRAMATICALLY
2. At 100 psi, it should launch further than only 100 meters

Well, generally its better for the barrel to be choking the valve's flow...positive pressure differential and all that.
As for question two...you can run the math on that one yourself. It also helps if your measurement units are conistent, btw.

My second Pneumatic is almost the same as yours. 1 metre (3 ft) of 25mm (1 inch) pipe for the chamber and a 1 inch Sprinkler with a 15mm barrel.
Doesnt do anything really.
Your barrel is pretty long though. Just run your design on GGDT. Ignore the 'Barrel Choking flow" warnings, they are negligible.

sounds reasonable to me...i like number 2 and there wouldnt have to be any reconstruction.
