Okay, I just picked up some 4" and 2" PVC piping. What is the optimal size for both my chamber and barrel? I want to fill it somewhere from 60-100 psi. How long should I make each section?
Well, we really need to know more...
If size really doesnt matter, use it all! The ratio might not be perfect, but using all of the pipe will yield the best performance.
For pneumatics, the optimal ratio is right around 2:1. Unless you can elaborate on the lengths of the pipe, I can't help you too much more.

Okay- I think I have a problem.
The pipe is SCH 40 4". It says not for pressure. Did I screw up?

Dude, you're just not having any luck are you?
If it says "not for pressure" then it is right. A pneumatic is a NO GO, but you could use it for a combustion.
As long as it's not "cellular/foam core" if it is cellular just throw it away. (or make a drain out of it)

i thought sch40 isnt the pressure rating or something but NSW-PW is? idk good thing NZ has a different system sh*t loads easier in my opinion anyway.something like this....
A-spouting(which would be like 10psi max lol)
B-DWV pipe(60-70psi max even though it doesnt say it safe for combustion)
C-60psi max
D-102psi max
E-173psi max
F-260psi
easy
testing video dont take notice:(SGAGB)
