EMS conduit Pipe?

While hanging out in lowes the other day I came across some EMS conduit pipe in the electrical section for dirt cheap($1.37 for a 1/2 in 5 foot piece) and was thinking about how it could be used in a spud gun, I was thinking a small coax. The main problem is there are no fittings for it. They have a few plastic compression fitting but those I know are not pressure rated and cant hold air without leaking. I could use epoxy like JSR did for his marble cannon but I want it to be servicable. Also what is the safe maximum pressure for it?
EDIT-Could I epoxy copper fittings on it, I only want to use it below 150 psi

hmm i would take it to 150 mayby, and glue copper fittings with JB to make the piston serviceable

The conduit is EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing) not aluminum. Test it with a magnet. It is galvanized. It does hold 150 PSI fine in the 1/2 inch size. Don't ask how I know. It was non SF safe testing that was done. Don't ask.

The advantage is the pipe is seamless so wire insulation does not get damaged by a seam. I'm looking into the rigid conduit for the 4 inch cannon.

Try to keep it under 350 PSI. It is not thick wall.

I just need a way to connect it, will epoxying copper fittings work

Epxying should work fine but I would jb weld it.

I used to test if my piston gun would go full auto with a pop off, it didn't . But held up it 300psi fine.

make sure you rought up the pipes before you even epoxy it, a broken drill bit does a good job.

I like to move the barrel support forward. Air betwwen the support and breech has no flow restrictions as air does not have to go past them. Air forward them moves slower past them for less loss.

This worked well on my Mouse Musket and Dragon cannons.

My Dragon could hardly be considered a mini.

I've not tested it, but it may be possible to solder the tubing.

if you keep is under 30cm i wouldn't even put a suppot, use a removable one that you take out after the epxoy cure

Ok, ill see if when I start this, I have to finish my new bbmg first, also will a dremal with a metal cutoff wheel be able to cut this

To get a nice clean cut that is square, use a tubing cutter, the one with the wheel. Many are designed to cut copper, aluminum and thinwall EMT.
