the piston should not wobble at all it should be nearly air tight. All you should have is one thick peace of rubber for a sealing face, also make sure that your piston face and seat are squarecrazyhockeywako wrote:It can wobble a little bit.

The piston works great now no air leaks from 10-125 psi. I rebuilt the sealing face. and added a front washer.

Glad its working, I would use stop nuts so that the nuts dont move back, but other than that it looks ok.

Could you make it out of something solid? it may be cocking side to side so it does not seal, here is mine (3" red part) but it seals every time

Hey for the gasket does have to be a soft rubber, hard rubber or kinda soft kinda hard?
