The piston works great now no air leaks from 10-125 psi. I rebuilt the sealing face. and added a front washer.

Glad its working, I would use stop nuts so that the nuts dont move back, but other than that it looks ok.

Could you make it out of something solid? it may be cocking side to side so it does not seal, here is mine (3" red part) but it seals every time
