Hey all, so I'm considering making a mini to shoot 6mm ball bearings. I have an ASCO 1/8" 3 way QEV valve like this one.

I had a design all planned out, but then I realized that it may not seal if I fill it from the chamber side like I want to. Do you guys think it would work?
Thanks,

If there is not a spring in the back, add one, then poke a hole in the diaphragm. If there is already a spring then all you need to do is poke the hole and it should be good. Use a needle to poke a very small hole.

Where exactly would I be poking this hole? The diaphragm has a large gap around it. Here is a couple pics. (Crappy cell pics, but it was in my pocket.)

The very small hole would go from the pilot area to the chamber area so the pressure can balance between them as the chamber is filled. Do not put a hole out to the barrel from the pilot. That would be bad.
Oh, so shouldn't be good then? There is about a 1/16th gap all the way around the diaphragm as it is.
EDIT: NVM, I see what you are saying. I just looked at the other side... Duh..
