They confiscated your gun and fined you $200....and you say they were on "your side" . Exactly how does that reconcile?
It was the gun who cost me 200 $ to build.

The police guy wanted to give me back the M82A1, but the neighbour did'nt want to

Guess the neighbour has some connections
He/she obviously doesn't like you for some reason... what did you do?

LoveableAirGuns, I'm seconding Inonickname's post, you NEED to do a basic firearms safety course, I presume you're in Australia, if you're over 12 you can attend the 2 hour course required to get a license.

It's completely free, you get a certificate, and you can get a firearms license at any time. I can see you were never taught that if you have ANY doubt, you NEVER discharge any arms.

Sorry for the rage post, but people not knowing the very basics of projectile launcher safety really annoys me.

This is a pretty sobering thread, especially for a fellow Canuck. My projects are going to stay indoors unless it's well away from prying eyes...

Sorry to hear about the whole thing.

Dude, this sucks. Sorry to hear about it, it was a nice gun.

This reminds me, I need to find a good spot in the middle of nowhere to test my guns.

So.....the police (representing the laws of your land) didn't have a problem with you and your gun but, they allowed your neighbor, a private citizen, to decide the fait of your gun. That is insane and totally wrong.

He had the choice, but the neighbour insisted or else he was maybe going to press charges, I don't know.

You could go to court, and probably win, though most likely it would cost large amounts of money for lawyers and such, and so it is not worth it. Fucking politics.

Just make a new one and shoot it outside suburbia, or at a gun range

It depends of the sort of neighbours you have really. Demon was unlucky enough to live next to a cunt. Some people have the luxury of living with neighbours who want to try their launchers out.

Definitely. It's a good idea. Don't shrug it off and say you'll know it all. Having this course done could help swing things your way if something does happen with the law, and it will insure the safety of others around you. Plus, it lets you legally use anyone else's guns with their permission
