Even knowing that'll work and probably work well...my fingers just started twitching in memory of a near miss with a jointer.
Think I'll stick with the lathe and boring bar.

Not a bad idea, however we all do not have a router. I just use a dremmel. Takes 5 minutes. Good advice though..
