I'm still trying to plan my multi-shot pneumatic and need a little help in GGDT.

I need to model the QEV + Slide Valve assembly.

Currently, I'm using settings based on JSR's post here:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... tml#358482

I'm not even sure it's correct though.

Here's the data for both the valves:
QEV:

I'm using the QE-02 (1/4 inch) valve.

Slide Valve:

I'm using the HSV-08 (1/4 inch) valve.

My GGDT settings are attached. Can someone please tell me what to do in order to model a QEV + slide valve set up?

I'm using the "Effective Sectional Area" of the valve on its data page to calculate the seat diameter parameter in GGDT.

Hard to get an exact model without the actual valve disassembled in front of you which you can measure and weigh. My figures should provide a good approximation though.

So you don't need any special settings to model the slide valve's effects?

The problem with modelling the slide valve is that it is entirely dependent on how fast you open it, so for our purposes an approximation with a "generic" valve setting usually suffices.
