I've just begun work on one of these..

<a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=2d0veo" target="_blank"><img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/2d0veo.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

As usual, I've drilled that quarter inch hole, and shoved a tire stem valve through for what feels like the millionth time.

I've been building air cannons a long time, among other things, and I've decided I need to evolve. Meaning, I need to stop relying on my poor overused bike pump!!!

Besides, I'm turning into an old man!! I don't want to be bending over and pumping every time I want to send a glow stick into space.

I decided I would come to my earliest mentor, spudfiles. And ask of the spud Gods and Goddesses. What exactly, is the best way to pressurize a cannon?!

Air compressor or bottle, ie... co2 tank, N2 tank, SCUBA bottle, SCBA bottle

What ever best fits your budget and situation.

Yep... A regulated high pressure bottle is definitely the way to go for the affluent/lazy. Or you could ignite a hybrid mixture :D

Scuba tank and fridge compressor if you want cheap pressure on the go.

But after seeing your other vids I realised you're constructing a terminator in your shop..??

You must have a Skynet budget.. :D
