my second attempt to make a pnuematic gun
my first attempt works but won't inflate more than 30 psi due to an air leak that i just cant fix, but i used the pvc primer and glue so i think this one should work, its drying right now.
Wow. For the love of all that is holy, don't pressurize that cannon! That crazy ass wye action you got going there with the shallow fittings is not safe at all. Also, you need to remove the fitting from the end of your blowgun. And teflon tape usually works better than primer
Nice first... or second attempt, but it looks like you didn't do your homework, or you just don't care about safety. Please don't fire this... especially around other people.

Have fun its what its all about but maybe invest in some pressure PVC and a little bit of homework before a build.
i've been firing it around 60 psi and it works great

kool cannon but yea soesn't look too safe. mabey next time have ur pressure chamber be strait out, its easyer to hold then and less friction between the air and the pvc walls to slow the air down.
yeah i wanted to just make it all straight like a bazooka but i couldn't find the proper reducers and everything so this is someting i pretty much put together at the store then took it apart and glued it together. plus the awkwardness in shape isnt a problem because i use an air compresser that plugs into my truck so i just lay the gun sideways and rest the barrel on the side of the bed and fire it like a cannon or mortar
that one is a monster but it has an awkward shape and it takes forever to fill up to just 60 psi so i built a smaller one last night that takes only seconds to fill to 100 psi. any feedback is appreciated.
this new one blasts paintballs through multiple layers of somewhat thick cardboard so fast it doesnt even splatter on the cardboard

What did you use to seal the soleniod hole? What is the foamy substance around the metal fitting on the sprinkler valve?
I am just asking because I am not sure what it is, I don't think it looks like it will seal.

Forever dreaming...
its gorilla glue i put on the blowgun fitting threads to hold it into the valve tighter and with a stronger hold, it just bubbles up when it dries. i have no air leaks anywhere though. and about the sealed solenoid hole, if you dont seal it the valve wont work. some people just leave the solenoid in but i think it gets in the way
EDIT: i thought you asked why, sorry. i used this epoxy stuff thats rated for like 1800 psi then toped it off with some more gorilla glue just to be safe

yeah its pressure rated
