I got a chance to test out my idea of adding a smoothbore extension to the rifled barrel. It wasn't as accurate as just the 10.5" rifled barrel by itself. It did seem to do a bit more damage to the stool though. The damage is shown at the end of my shooting video:

I decided to go back to having just a rifled barrel because it isn't that much slower and it's more accurate. Plus it's a lot more compact and light.
And here are some pictures of my final setup and a picture of the rifling:

Sorry if I missed it, but when you were using ball bearings coated in wax to give a nice seal, how do you manage to take them out the wax and what do you put them on to stop them from having a flat side, or do you hold them until cooled enough, also what do you hold them with?
Sorry for all the questions, I am still in awe of your gun, did you plan/draw it all out first or just have the idea and made it work?

Nice gun! Can you tell me how you coat your ammo in wax without getting flat spots or it all slumping down, do you use a magnet ro hold the ball bearings and then just dunk them in the wax? Also is it just candle wax? Thanks

found your gun, it awesome. Its so mutch more neet looking than my first one but you probebly have a lot more expertise. Im really going to look in to the QDV what sound good. I think your idee of having a tank on your back an just a little chamber in the gun is really smart. But way did you deleted al the videos on you channel I would like to see some more info or just shotings.

Looks like the barrel moves in and out to expose the breech for loading. Is there any play in the barrel when locked in position?
Any tips for solvent welding the big pieces of ABS? Did you roll on the glue?
I'm still amazed how good it looks.
On the video you mentioned just tapping and releasing the trigger instead of slow pull... I thought a QDV would respond just fine to slow pull.

There isn't any play in the barrel when locked because of the two points of contact. It is a similar sealing system to my most recent combustion cannon "The Jackal" where the wedge of the bolt slide forces the seal against both surfaces.
For the laminating process I just used the standard brush-in-can inside the ABS glue and worked quickly. I would do it layer by layer and press it down as I built it up and then stood on a big board to compact it for a while. I didn't want to make a press.
The tap and release issue was because my piston was a little too tight (it had to hold 800psi back) and the return spring was quite stiff too so the valve needed an extra hand to open all the way.

I am interested in constructing a valve similar to yours, the T piece that the piston is located in, does this have a ported tube lining the T or is the T fitting smooth on the inside? Also the O rings on your piston, how tight are the O rings on the piston, are the grooves wider than the O rings and how much squish is there on the O rings when the piston is fitted?
