Hello all!

Im an airsofter who loves his artillery but I like to stay accurate. So Im constructing the German Anti tank gun the Pak 38. Id say it need to be about a 4-5 inch wide barrel. Id like to make the Gun out of some sort of metal pipe but I do not know which metal pipe can withstand the most preassure. Id like to do the airtank under the barrel (which Id like to breach load nerf rockets) and a some sort of air pump to fill the big tank, but I dont know how to get one on the field. If anyone can help me thanks very much, please email me with your advice, Italianstlni@aol.com.

A 4-5" barrel will result in nerf footballs going about 10 feet. Use a 2" barrel, they work perfectly for the footballs. And do a little research, as suggested by chaos.

agreed with noname 2" barrel would be much better,
maybe if you want the whole "anti-Tank look" make it a coaxial and encase it all inside a peice of 4' pvc to keep the weight down

have fun keep us updated

ive designed this thing about 8 times, i think i even designed it to look like the Pak 38. i designed mine to be a 1/2 scale version with a 2" barrel and a 4" chamber designed to look like the recoil piston thing. i think that my valve was going to be a 2" barrel sealing valve.

i also designed a 1/3 scale with a 1" QEV as the valve.

if you need any pointers i can probably find my blueprints and scan them for you.

Looks like a sound design. Whenever I get around to making another cannon it's gonna be a good one. Kinda similar to that plan but more like a WWII AA gun. But we wanna see pics when it's finished.

Thanks all, and Paaiyan, the gun I designed is a WWII Anti Infantry gun. I would like to know where I can find some way to supply air into the tank but I dont know how to. Is their a way to attach a small air compressor to the gun directly to the tank. A-98 Id love some of your blueprints if its not too much trouble just email em to Italianstlni@aol.com. Also Does anyone know how to make a breach loader where the use of shells can be incorporated? Thanks!

Also could the breach be in front of the Ball valve. Could the barrel be pvc? Like from the air tank to the end of the Breach loader would be metal and the rest of the main barrel pvc? Thanks again
