What? Are we still talking about my page on my site on the Supah Valve?
The password's not 001-007. It's n1s1h1tq19281926919897043490
Try that one, and it'll work.
My password system is also very simple, so I know how he could have got through it, but I don't know for sure.
Any other passwords on my site from now on are gonna be Java encrypted passcode scripts, just to keep people like him from getting in.
Diaphragm Setup
I checked the source and it says the password is in the html of the page...
So I knew it was http://members.aol.com/markfh11q/PASSWORD.html
He changed it now, so if it was 001-007 it doesn't work anymore
I WILL find it out though, not to get the pictures, but just for the "challenge" even though it will be very simple...

It wasn't 001-007 in the first place, although there are six pictures on there, labeled 001 - 007, with a skipped number. Something might have been mistranslated there.
And didn't you look above? The password is n1s1h1tq19281926919897043490. I don't care if you see the pictures because they're posted here anyway.
Back on topic to Shrimpheads gun... Looks good. Sounds good. Only way to "prove" it is to make it. You have a good difference between barrel and chamber diameter.
But how much travel is there for the diaphragm? Travel should be about 1/4 of the barrel diameter, (on piston valves). I don't rightly know how much it should be for a diaphragm, (what with the flex and whatnot), but it should be close to 1/4 B.D. for maximum flow. Make it a little more than that if you want to just be safe.
Are you thinking of re-inforcing the diaphragm with some steel or sheet plastic?
P.S. - blowgun sounds like a good pilot valve, but I'd rather just use a 1/4" or 1/2" ball valve... more flow...

Well 1/4 of 1/2" is 1/8". It will flex more than that, do I need to leave room for the diaphragm to slide back and forth?
I haven't really considered reinforcing the diaphragm. If I have any troubles with it wearing out I will, but I'll see if it works first. The way it's designed allows for the replacement of the diaphragm.
Ya but ball valves don't make a good trigger and don't fit into the plan for this gun 8) .

Ok. Well I'll probably glue it all together tomorrow. If anything goes wrong I might be able to fix it without trashing anything. But even if I have to it'll set me back about $5.
