wouldnt 3 footy feilds be like, 900yds? i can suply a shopping list for an easy,under over sprinkler gun if you like. or something with a little more bulk?

ok i dont know what a lot of those terms are...right now im going for the one that i saw in that link (http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/a-true- ... t8073.html)...is that okay?

i got the

80 inches of 4 inch Schedual 40 NSF-PW PVC Pipe (pressure rated)
72 inches of 3 inch PVC (for barrel)
2 inch pvc ball valve

but what about end caps and primers and glue and stuff...like literally what do i need...include everything

I gave you a list for that one. o ya i forgot 2 3 inch end caps. There sould be primer and cement called oatys in yoru plumbing section at home depot. get the second smallest one.

ill mkae a new list

4 inch pvc

3 inch pvc

3 inch elbows-2

3 inch encaps-2

3 inch t

3 inch to 2 inch reducer-2

2 inch fem adaptors-2

2 inch ball valve.

2 inch coupling

primer

cement.

so is the 3 inch the barrel....or the chamber..it seems like its the chamber but i thought the barrel was 3 inches

but since the barell is only connected to the valve, why is there all this stuff for the 4 inch chamber thats 3 inches

Hotrocks, if your doing the building, you better at least go read the solvent welding how to. If you don't do it rite, your going to hurt yourself and someone else!

yea. if you hit the teacher with flying pieces of pipe. you might fail. :lol:

yeah i read it...basically coat inside with primer (make sure you dont get the threads on the cans with primer) then do it again, then do it with cement, then put the pipes together and twist, then press for a minutes then let dry....and do it outside.....right?


Apply to both male and female parts avoiding contact with threaded areas. Mask the threads with tape if needed beforehand.

what threaded areas? on the pipes?

if you have female threaded adaptors all you need is teflon tape. you dont need to solvent weld adaptors.

a 2" pvc ball valve would have horrible performance.Like less than 100 ft
I would suggest a 2" sch 80 pvc union for burst disks for the best performance possible. Plus its cheap!(15$ at the high end 8$ at the low end)
