stray away from DWV fittings for future cannons.

well i didnt know what a dwv fitting was before you guys told me. this gun already shoots better (aside from fire rate) than most real paintball guns ive used, so the power is good enough for me.

exactly, im still convinced that if its simple and reliable you have a good cannon. its never fun when your all mighty hybrid cannon goes biserk because of a small problem. although if your an expert with cannons and your hands, you would be much better off building coaxial or other piston cannons.

irwinner, thats good. just always be aware of the danger of using DWV fittings, i myself have used a few and they havn't broken on me yet, but thats also because i never go above 100PSI, the only time that happened was when a friend of mine brought the cannon up to 150PSI with his compressor and my chamber cracked. he promptly recieved a very long beating :D

thnx
This gun doesn't replace a commercial paintball marker for playing paintball in fact the discussion of shooting people is forbidden on this forum.

in scenario paintball games air cannons are not uncommon, however they are not fired directly at people, they are generally an anti vehicle or anti bunker weapon. other times they are fired from an angle of greater that 45 degress with a load of paintballs to rain down far downrange on players, but never pointed right at them
