Subsonic, a QEV is simply a commercially manufactured piston (several, but few are diaphragm) valve manufactured with tight tolerances and a small pilot volume. A pop-off may not have enough flow to actuate a homemade valve, so why not try?
Niceness...Lets see you get a supersonic bbmg onto an airsoft field (david)

Ok, I know it's cheaky as hell, but given that it's currently made from bought in parts I don't suppose you could do a parts list for those of us (me) too dumb to work out which bit is which.

Le QEV, le pop-off valve (preferably adjustable), something to attach the two, then something to attach the QEV to your chamber on one end and your breech on the other.
Depends what you have available I suppose.
Errr, well oddly enough yes.
I just thought given that the lot was probably all ordered, he could whack up the exact specs in a trice, and we could all nip out and buy them, or hey if they were ordered on-le-line, I could order them from ze same place.
Red or white btw?

What? A parts list? For something this simple?
I covered the main components in the video, and you can imagine the rest I suppose.
I didnt order it online, but from BTB, which is in the video description.

Oh and did you know "it" also works with THIS GUN? 8)
Stay tuned...

Have you tried single shots in a longer before you build a mag to see what the power's like?psycix wrote:Stay tuned...

Oh go on, simple Tee magazine, fire something!
I think that chamber is far too big for the valve though, looked/sounded better with the smaller one.

The 1/2 definitely is going to chew a lot of air. Time to get a really BIG Air tank, or trailer mounted diesel compressor unit
The tnak is already really big (for a 30 bar resevoir.)
As you just saw, I can get more 16mm shots out of it then a normal mag can hold.
A trailer mounted diesel compresor? I'll ask that for my birthday haha.

There are 1/4" threads on the FE, which is pure luck.
It takes a few minutes with my fridgy.
You know, I am in doubt. I first wanted to make a BFWB for the BB barrel, but the smallness is just annoying. I may aswell just skip it and build one for the marbles.
I cant cram more marbles into a tubular mag then the FE can give more shots anyway.
So what do you guys think? BB's first or marbles?
BTW: An inline mag for bb's would need to be 4,20 m long if I wanted to carry as much BB's as I can get shots out of the FE.
For marbles it would need to be 1,60 m.
I may need to go hopper, OR "revolving tubular magazines" (a new idea of me, more information later).

Given your 16mm porting, I would go for marbles. Wouldn't bother with a bolt either, why not just use a Tee mag and hopper?

that would be easiest....and there would be no parts to jam either....
but marbles aren't uniform...
