Those bends will slow down the flow of air. If you were to use like 2in PVC for the bends, and then adapt it to 1 just before it went into the sprinkler valve it should speed it up. Of course, the chamber would have to be reduced in volume a little to make it have the same C:B ratio using the same barrels.

Why reduce the chamber. The bigger the chamber, the longer the air keeps its pressure.
