i think you should make a magazine for it and just run it directly off your compressor, if you have one.
it looks good though.

no not from that sight i bought the gun and the darts from a shop in lake Tahoe Nevada. as for the magazine thats a definite maybe but the comprssor doesnt produce the volume, the dart even though it's hard to see is actually larger that a marble.

What is that chamber?
It looks rather huge, but if you add a really long barrel...
Nice cleanly done bolt system.
I would suggest modding that valve to be some sort of hammer valve like MrC (I think it was him) did so that all of that air isn't wasted. That may be too complicated though...

i would have really no idea how to make the valve only release a little air, but i may make a smaller chamber. also i have a regulated co2 setup that fits in a backpack so it's portable, the barrel is 4 feet in length so its not all that short i just didn't show a picture of the entire length. any suggestions on how to make a valve that uses part of the air?
this is the whole thing

That looks real nice
Cant wait to see it in action
But abut the part of the air thing, well Im not sure how you would do it and however you could do it it would be very tricky to make.
So I just recommend you hook it up to the CO2 and run low psi(or high if you feel like it).

thanks it'll keep the valve I've got and use co2 or my compressor, all i need to do now is build the trigger and stock assembly.

You could put a ball valve between the big tank and a smaller one. If you were to open a tiny bit the air would seep in slowly as you fiddled with the breech.

i guess, but i will just make a smaller tank and use the big one for something else. ill test the barrel and bolt today and post damage shots probably on soon

and also whats the pressure chamber made of, or what is it ????
cheers

well the pressure chamber is really light aluminum that was some sort of pressure tank for some big company. i purchased it at a industrial salvage yard for 7$ i think, it supposedly holds like 50-600 psi but i would only feel safe at around 300.(but my qev wont go that high so i run it at 150 max). i have 2 almost identical tanks like this one and i love the way they look. i finished most of the build and should be testing today

first of all what's the size of the QEV ? 3/4" or 1" ? whatever its size is I think you should build something bigger if you want to get the full potenitial of that chamber
'european' QEVs have been used up to 850 psi... while I don;t think its entirely safe I often use mine at 400 psi, eventhough it's ratered to 150psi. most likely your QEV can take much more than 150 psi.. I wouldn't go with it above 300 psi but 250 psi 'should' be fine

do you have a blowgun? Those darts are for the cold steel .625 caliber blowguns. I have a .50 caliber that is six feet long and man do I love it. They are really fun to shoot.
