there is a 1 meter x 18mm barrel
with a wood bolt action system
the air tank is a coca bottle at 8 bars ( 1.5litres or 0.5 )
i shoot potato and battery
he have a QEV system
i like it. nice and neat. it looks like you put some time into it,
the part that i really dont like is that you spent so much time and money and effort into it, and you decided to take a short cut and use a 2 liter bottle as a chamber. it really bugs me when people use them as chambers because it looks bad and is (in my opinion) a sign of laziness. its fine if its just a ghetto plinker, but for such a nice gun i think it deserver a better air chamber.
add a stock too, it will make it more comfortable to shoot.
"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote
you know you are not an engineer if you have to remind yourself "left loosy righty tighty"
It's a beautiful gun no doubt. Nice work and attention to detail. Too bad you used a Coke bottle for your chamber.. Neatly replace it with a equivalent piece of 2" PVC and some fittings and barrel bracket...might cost you $3-5 (in the US anyway). You'll have something a lot more permanent and safe.
I saw this on the French Spudgun website, I've always liked it. Very clean build and nice breech loading system, the only part I don't like is the soda bottle.
@starman,
IIRC, he's French. I'd imagine it's quite difficult and/or expensive to find decent sized and rated PVC over there. Remember, not everyone lives in the land of cheap PVC
While the use of a coke bottle would classify as ghetto, the super-clean construction makes it look very neat! It doesn't look ghetto at all!
Though I do recommend to replace that chamber.
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

Anyways... I love it! I wish i had one of those blowgun but they have the French threads so yeah...
that is exactly what i was gonna say . also in your vid it seems as though it is hard to get in a comfortable position while aiming. if you made a stock i think it would take care of that problem. keep up the good work i am looking forward to seeing your next gun.
ps: i saw your slow motion vid of your qev gun. nice quality vid
Thats a really nice gun. I really like everything on it like all the metal parts but I would have to agree. The bottle chamber has to be replaced. Then I think it would be one of the better cannos on here.. By the way. Where did you get that part where the scope is mounted, and the part for the bipod. Did you machine it yourself or did you buy it somewhere. I really like it. :salute:

He machined it himself. It is just a piece of wood shaped like a long trapezoid.
