here is my almost complete sniper rifle

it has a 1" pvc chamber and a 3/4" cpvc barrel. I shoot mostly paintballs out of it and get 300 fps at 40 psi.

I am about to try some wax slugs through this bad boy

Kind of ugly, sorry. The over large stock look impractical when you could just make a large tank underneath barrel. Interesting idea though. What PSI will you run it at? as well, what velocity do you expect?

eh, i didn't mean for the stock to look quite that bad but it's just how it came out. it's FAR FAR FAR from impractical, it is the full size i need to use as a real rifle stock. plugging everything in to ggdt it told me to run it at 40 psi to get 300 fps, which it does.

An alright build, but that pilot volume is quite big and I can't see any real reason for it.

I'll second that pilot volume statement.

Think about using two elbows (90 degree) to bring the blowgun closer to a trigger position while reducing pilot volume.

Have you verified it over a chrony? I'm just curious to see if sprinkler valve pneumatics are accurately predicted by ggdt. (My piston launchers are within roughly 20 fps of prediction.)

Take a minute and resize your thumbnail pic please.

yeah i wanna shorten up the pilot hose when i get the chance.

actually i have verified it over the chrony and it is very close, i don't have the exact volume of my chamber to plug into ggdt so it is a little off but 40 psi will get you close to 300 fps

Shooting WHAT? (What was it, what was the diameter, what was the weight, of the projectile?)

Some details of your canon and ammo choices please.

Just edit your first post to include the information. That way, people will get the information where they expect to find it. :)
