I'm looking to get a QEV from this mob but I've never seen QEV's like these....
Anyone have any suggestions? I think they look so clean and neat.

They look great to me, just flat external surfaces instead of round...seems to me would be easier to mount in more positions and locations. I'm almost sure they are piston type based on the design layout.
The only downer is that the largest size is 1/2". Still could make for some interesting marble/paintball (or smaller) designs.

Well I use 8mm usually. I'm just sick of small bore piston valves, they are such a pain and not to mention so fiddly. I reckon I'll have to get one. At 22 dollars, I can't go wrong!
Thanks for the advice too Starman

i have one of these exact same ones, was hoping for it to remain undiscovered until i unveiled my masterpiece...
but i can vouch for them, one thing i thought was strange is that the pilot and chamber threads are 1/8" smaller than the exhaust...

Sounds great, I can't wait to see. With this QEV, have ya tested performance? I've never owned one...

They seem a lot easier to incorporate in a cannon that is supposed to remain compact.

They are a Queensland company should be cheap for you or maybe find out where they are!
Also curious why you didn't just order tried and proven products from the UK forum shop?

Frank, compact is the idea I'm going for. I'm going for aluminium P90 style gun. 8mm will be the bore size. I've come up with a weird trigger mech that's never been done before. I'll have to draw a pic of it. On my old gun, it was unbeatable, It dumps the pilot instantly so on the back of a QEV, it should be fantastic.
Cheers alot for the advice Urban. With the aussie dollar being so low at the moment, it would have cost me an absolute fortune to buy and ship over.
Hmm this QEV will be a xmas pressie for myself

I also noticed these are rated min operating pressure 50kpa and max 1mpa
when on mcmasters site they rate theirs as max 125kpa, is this a concern in any way?

Could be valves from different manufacturers.

I'll try and explain it. On the back of the piston housing, I have a pop off valve with no spring and a sear to push it closed. As soon as you trigger that sear, the pop off instantly opens. I've tried alot of pilot valves but this one by far takes the cake....no...it takes the bakery!
FOOKING SWEET!!! How's this for luck! This pneumatic mob is only 20 min away from me! Out of all the places in Aussie

I had a feeling your idea had something to do with a pop off valve. Those cool valves are floating around ebay at the moment too. How much pressure have you guys taken these to?
