This is one of my first pneumatic cannons I've made, I tried to build on a budget and ended up spending a reasonable amount of twenty-two dollars. The stock is made fully out of 3/4 in. sch 40 PVC pipe and fittings with a pressure gauge and threaded valve stem. The firing system is a rainbird cp-100 1 in. modded sprinkler valve that is pressure rated for 120 psi. This pneumatic cannon has two detectable barrels, one with a .40 caliber barrel sleeved in a 1/2 in. PVC pipe with a breach loading system the other is a regular 3/4 inch barrel that's about 4 feet long.some of the ammo i use is .40 blowgun dart, triple a batteries, nails, and homemade scatter shots either filled with airsoft bbs or 5 marbles.

Some damage shots!!
This was shot with a penny slug about twice.

shot a dart from about 5 feet at a penny taped to half inch plywood.

Pepsi can filled with water inside a soup can inside a tomato sauce can that was shot with a metal marble.

Nice - apart from the fact that the pressure gauge should ideally have been threaded in at a joint. And the fact that it's a 400 psi gauge is optimistic too...

However, apart from that, it looks good. Are you left handed by any chance?
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

picked it up at a swap meet for 50 cents. :)

Na im right handed. I hold the blowgun on the stock while i support it with my left hand which i place next to the stem valve,it`s actually really comfortable.

Okay. I just saw a left handed breech handle, so I thought I'd ask.

Fair enough on the gauge thing - just don't get optimistic...

Nice and clean, great work! Next time try tap the gauge in on a double layer of pvc (such as a joint).

i have a nut inside the pipe that's screwed on to the gauge and it hasn't leaked so far but next time ill try to go for a joint piece.

I know plus i wouldn't even be able to get up that high or the diaphragm of the sprinkler valve would rupture and there goes my 15 dollars. :)

Very Nice :D ... Good clean build and nice breech load system, though you should cut out some of that pilot volume.

It is amazing what a blow gun dart can do at 120psi huh. I used a stun dart at 200psi before and it went through the milk jug and the my fence.

This is a neat build tape! As an upgrade, you could consider going to a quick connect instead of the schrader. Also, this would nicely operate with a reg'd CO2 setup...make it much more portable.
