a few propane questions

The small tanks use for mini grills .
The ones I see being used on combustions.
how can I pump air into them.
I want to use it to air clean paint out of the small conners of my paintball marker.
using an airgun is this possible?

so basicly you want to use air to get rid of the paint stuck in the corners of your paintball gun?

Yes but I dont drive. do I need somthing small light weight and I want to do it at the field I dont wanna be cleaning my stuff when I get home I want to do it at the field.
I am on my bike and going 5 miles to get to the games so i dont want my 11 pound compressor on my back
a small tank with a few parts is like 2 pouns so it all good any ideas if it will work and wat i need?

What a coincidence that every paintball marker comes with some sort of pressure tank, being it either HPA or CO2. Maybe use that?

Beware that a small tank on say, 150psi, is emptied VERY VERY fast. I dont think air cleaning your marker can be done in that way.

i want pump 20 maybe 30 psi into the propane tank and let it out slowly with an airgun blasting away paint bits stuck in the conners

On 20-30 psi there wont be much of a blast.
And it will empty even faster.

Then just make the following:
A PVC chamber, with an airgun attached (via a short hose) and a shrader valve. Take a bike pump with you and you can pressurize it on the location.
Pressure gage would be useful/safe.

ok the idea of wat psycix was saying using a pvc pipe chamber and all of that but i wanted to use a small propane tank form my mini grill for a few reasons
1 no leaks from the tank
2 i can have 1 or 2 of them
3 i can fill it up by small hand pump right on the spot

Has anyone ever used one of these little compressors? I have some interesting ideas for one if it works at all.

i have a small one that sssssssboom showed in the link but mines a little diffent but it works with a rechargeable battery bit it is 11 pounds !!

I just bought it and it is 1.4 lbs it's really light I haven't used it but I think it only comes with a cigarette lighter plug but that's just what I bought it for I'll try it out tomorrow if I have time

I have used one of those small compressors before; they're lightweight and supposed to fill up to 200 psi (though you probably shouldn't go that far). But I guarantee that if you get one it will burn out within the first thirty or so uses.

Anyone else notice this is in the wrong section?
