Thanks for the quick replies. Im certainly not the first with this though, but yeah, its really cool.
For example.
I just ordered some steel 6mm bb's and I will soon build a blowforward.
Also I will build my own popoff, but then with a mechanism to shut off the air feed during pilotting, also it will run on a higher pressure (30 bar full-auto anyone?) Heck, I may even step over to unregged (only flow regulated) 12grams.
Tomorrow I will make another vid with the fire extinquisher, but then filled up to a higher pressure and going wild until its empty.
that is the most awesome sound I have heard in a while!
And then imagine that it is way louder in real life! A quick burst of this always makes me happy!

very very impressive.. I really like the way you described how it cycles.
what bb velocity are you getting?
Can you test it with 6mm Airsoft BB's (.20g) would be nice

I hate it....
Nice goin' there buddy....
Told you the snapvalve was forked...Nice to hear the exhaust still hurts.
I tweaked it a bit too much I guess..
That thing sounds so amazing when it's fed by the F.E.!!!!
Now I can;t wait to see a BFB on it....that would be awsome.
The F.E. gives you quite a lot of shots doesn't it?!?!?!

I just ordered some steel BB's (0,87g). And since I happen to suddenly have some money left, I am about to buy a chrony too.
Whoa! I just got an email that my order of BB's has been shipped! I ordered it about three hours ago. Man that is FAST! Gotta love webshops.
I'll just go ordering my chrony ASAP.
Yep, the FE gives a lot of shots! I will see how much I can get out of it tomorrow (anyone offers to count them?)

One little question, hwo exactly is the QEV piloted? I see how the pop of valves work but i dotn understand how the QEV is piloted and how it improves anything i.e. wouldnt this work better with a coax and the pop of at the end of the barrel?

EDIT: I'm downloading audacity to figure out the ROF with that fire extinguisher.
Also he can load a single bb in there for the first shot to see the velocity.

so far it looks quite good.... ohh and the vid is great
I hope you realize that implementing a blowforward bolt is going to be a pain in the ass.. you might try my vertibolt design (if you don't mind buying an air cylinder and if it will work here) or just find a way to minimize flow restrictions cased by the bolt
