this may be a dumb question but is there anything i can/should do to keep my manual track pump going strong? like should i give it a spray of wd40? i was just wondering cause i cant imagine its going to last to long anyway.

Definitely not WD40, the seals might not like it. Any occasionaly smear of moly grease should suffice, I don't think you should be that worried if it's a quality pump.

I like beto, got 2 pumps by them, one track and one shock, no complaints whatsoever :)

someone said before that WD40 would weaken the rubber and its going to cut very easily and spoil your seal.

To put this in more useful terms, you should avoid using petroleum based oils or greases on rubber seals, because it can easily degrade them.

Two reasonable alternatives, although it depends on the exact circumstances, are graphite lubricant and silicon oils/greases.
I scarcely use petroleum based lubricants any more - only when there's a specific call for them.

Why? I looked at the link and they look like regular pumps. Are they better? How many strokes to 100 psi?

Depends on the tank size

That will vary in proportion to chamber size. The number is essentially useless without knowing that.

EDIT: Damn it, beaten. I was at least more specific though.
