This is my mega cannon. It is my Scince project for my schools HSC. Dont laugh at the wierdness of the 6 inch dual chambers chanelled down to a mini 1 inch. This is my anti personel(aircraft!) paintball gun. The reason that this is called the C-10 is because C stands for cost. Yeah it cost $10. No Joke. All the pipes were free. They were partly from myne and friends garages, spares or from my neighbour. The only things I had to buy were the threaded connectors and the part for my other valve the burst disk. See this gun is special not for its power or size but it has multiple valves. A burst disk, solenoid, Im working on atlantises triggered (thanks atlantis) disk and Im getting a qev. I have only tried it with an electrially actuated sprinkler as I have not yet got a compressor and so far it takes 150 pumps to get to 8 psi. Crap. At 10 psi it goes out of sight. Nowhere to be seen. Scary. Any addons or extras that you can think of to put on it would be apreciated and by the way those flames were just A4 paper cutouts, bluetacked down and sprayed with white enamel paint. Not too bad for my first paintjob.

HOLY NICENESS!!!

Very nice gun, and superb job on the paint. Although im not a big fan of flames, it looks cool. If you slap a piston vavle on that thing you would get incredibly better performance. I wont even begin to guess how outta a wack your ratio is, lol. I bet if you enter this in GGDT you would get a message along the lines of "WOW! This ratio and valve are way out of fricken' wack!".

As you pointed out, burst disks would be the way to go. They give almost 0 restriction in flow. You need to check into getting a cheap air compressor... That possum is awesome! Im tempted to move there and catch myself a kangaroo.

Thanks a lot pimpmann :D :D :D :D :D ! I have seriously considered putting some kind of piston on it, but i guess I need to limit the power kinda! I do live in a city (appartment)! So kinda risky. Same here on flames. I always thought that they were unoriginal, therefore was going to put
AUSTRALIAN ARMY C-10 written on the side! But went with flames. Also that is kinda my pet possum. He comes in every night for tim tams and other snacks. I did try to put it in to the ggdt after building it but found it quite hard to work out the area of it. Thanks for your input!!!!!

where are you in austraila? im in tassie. i reacon you should put a tenis ball barrel on , it wouldent restrict the flow that much.

I live in sydney. Yeh when I get a bit more money I am going to have many many variations on the barrel size. I made it primarily 1 inch for sniping and testing.

WOOO go Australia! So how long does it vent from the chamber still after the projectile has left the barrel?maybe try a 3 meter barrel..lol.We once had a possum we called our own down at our beach house, but a cat killed it  dam cats.

EDIT:i live up north, near Queensland.small place with no worries about shooting large cannons only needs a 5min drive and i am in bushland.gota love rural australia :P

Possums rule, so does australia part from the stupid laws. Like bb guns grrrrrr. It actually vents pretty quick, ive only tried it to 10 psi, gives a crap load of power at 10 still! Where in australia are you?

If you wanna find how much volume is in the chamber, fill it with water and measure it out with 2 liter bottles. I do like the way the elbows form into a stand. Talk about your major overkill.

looks great, though the fittings arent pressure rated, what size are the chambers? they look like about 6"

Yeah they are 6''. I wasnt too worryied about them being pressure rated as im only going to take it up to 20-25psi. Due to the massive chamber to barrel ratio even 15 psi can kick ass. I might try that with the water, thanks! Have u noticed that I started off at this site making very small minis of guns and now ive hit the other side of the spectrum?!

AAAAAAHHHHHH! I just put it up to 25 psi! holy crap im still shaking. it was only a bouncy ball wrapped in toilet paper but DAMN! The doors shook and leaves fell from trees 20 feet away! iwas standing whilst shooting and found the recoil massive even for a barrel that small and all that weight! I AM SCARED OF THIS! First time IVE been scared of a weapon.
