Not mine, found this on youtube.

Performance is (perhaps intentionally?) sh1te and rate of fire grannyesque, but a well made project nonetheless.

That thing is ridiculously over complicated for what it does. Not to be a jerk, but its my opinion. You're better off taking the contest winner cannon and attaching motorized arms to it.

Nice. We could teach the builder a few things. I like the automation, but I don't like the huge restriction to flow between the accumulator (chamber) and the barrel. After the tennis ball has left you can still hear the chamber hissing. That is wasted power.
He did a nice job breadboarding the automation circuit so it would drive the control solenoids. It works well. It looks like the work of a robotics student.

In terms of ballistic performance, certainly, but as to the wiring I'd be the student I'm sure the amount of steps for reloading could be reduced too, let's face it you don't need an externally powered breech.Technician1002 wrote:Nice. We could teach the builder a few things

I'm not sure why he used so many pneumatic rams for feeding in a role that required at most one..
But it's pretty cool, albeit some of the things hurting performance will certainly be painful to some here.

Hehehe that sound!
Rhythmic hissing. Spudgun music.
Crappy performance, but it looks cool!

That hose probably adds a lot of dead space. putting the valve on the moving barrel would have operated better

lol... yep it's overcomplicated as hell... but I like it
it would be more impressive if it cycled faster
EDIT
It would be even more impressive if he used this
notice how useful it would be for full auto guns

This guy and I conversed through youtube a while back. He admited to being a controls guy rather than a mechanical guy.
I found his videos and then realized he had subscribed to my youtube months earlier!
