My most expensive project is done..cutinng the chit chat
a BEAST is what this is..
chamber uses about 3.1 feet of 1'' copper pipe
barrel is about 3 inches longer then the chamber
pilot is a 1/2 qev
Features:
Custom molded epoxy putty grip
UltraLight piston made from nylon i think?
Fires:
AA batteries
Hornady .50 cal lead blackpowder balls with a tiny bit of wadding
Ill get the video up soon so keep watching this thread
I have an air conditioner project comming up so this will be taken to 450psi or so
right now im using an air compressor and toping it off with my shock up at around 200psi and thats the damage you see form AA batteries
the battery wedged inside is 70 psi..
Piston..
I made this from using my hole saw and drilling out a thick plate of nylon? Then shaping it slowly with an extacto knife and some sand paper the oring is a floating oring groove was made from an exacto knife....im pretty sure its nylon but its reall hard stuff 1000ft lbs from my old punuematic couldnt break it only dent it
PICS!
Btw this is my first time soldering
OH yeah and the gun is coated it 3 layers of lacquer so i dont have to polish it anymore:}
