Hey guys!
Long time not been on this forum. I'v been on other projects for the past few months, but i recently started a new pneumatic launcher project. I ordered from the internet a 3 way solenoid valve - 1/4" ports - from Parker (Part # : 71315SN2MNJ1N0C111P3) thinking it would suit my needs, but it dont. The solenoid runs on a 120/60 110/50 volts/hz...
I dont need the valve anymore. (i actually bought it for about 60$ on the internet). I am giving it away to anyone who would like to have it. All i ask is the shipping cost to be paid, wich is about 25$ to the U.S. (i live in Canada). I can provide time stamped pictures if needed.
Also, if anyone have in it's possession a 3 way air piloted valve, i would be willing to trade it, or buy it. I realize now by making extended research on the internet that most solenoid valve work on 120 volts, so im switching to air piloted valve for my project now.

Also, a quick question for you guys.
I consider buying this pilot operated, 5 way 2 position valve (Pic included). If i understand how this valve function, the pilot on the side of the valve, when released, will move the bolt inside the valve and redirect the pressure applied to the ports?
Like, for instance, if i would attach my air source to port 1, and my barrel seal piston to port 2, then, when the pilot is be release, the port 2's pressure would be redirected to port 3, piloting the piston?

Can't you just get another solenoid for the valve you have ?? normally they are separate parts
The pilot on that valve is not like pilot side on piston valves... it's positive pressure valve - so you need another 3 way to pressurise it (to switch it) and then vent it.
I think you could achieve what you want with some indirect acting solenoid valves. You'd just have to remove the solenoid and use a blowgun to switch the valve
Though I think you'd be better off with a manual valve
