What type of valve?

Hey,

Does anyone know what kind of valve I would use for this situation?

I want to fill a chamber to a set pressure. Once the pressure is released from the chamber, the valve would allow air to enter the chamber and fill it to the set pressure again.

I appreciate any advice or help you have

Thanks

A regulator
Most compressors have them built in, and if you are sing a hand pump then it should have a gauge. How are you filling the chamber?

I am looking to use a paintball tank either co2 or compressed air.

There are paintball regulators, or you can use two regulators in series to accomplish this. One to reg it down to a sane pressure, then another to get it to what you want. Or if you don't need much accuracy, one will certainly do.

I'm kind of new to pneumatics and with school I havnt had much time to work on this project. So I don't really have a good idea yet on what valves I will be using, but yes I'm hoping I can construct a semi-auto gun. Sorry I couldn't answer your question. If you have an suggestions please share!

I'm in school too, but still able of getting some time. For semi auto isn't east for beginners, the easiest way is probably slide valve + QEV. I have done with another way but that confuses people, check out my videos on YouTube and see if you want.
