AT4 Shoots 2" Nerf Vortex Foot balls 150' I also made some Airsoft AP rounds that can take out a group at 75'

Image
It is a simple sprinkler valve design, I used 2 9v bateries wired in series to make 18V it works pretty good up to about 120psi, but at that pressure it ripps the fins off of my foot balls.. It has a 2' barrel with a 3' compression chamber... the outside is custom made from 4' abs...
Image
The batery box is made from a 4" pice of ABS that I flatened in the oven "300 for 10 min worked well" . I then cut the pices the right size and secured them with ABS cement..

What do you think??

so the whole gun is sleeved in pipe to give it an authentic bazooka look?
sweet.

practical and good looking. retro-shique baby.

i like the coupling-ish thing on the end, ive seen those at stores. gives it high tech weaponry style.

Its actualy not that heavy. probably about 7-8 pounds. I like the electric switch, the 18V opens it pretty fast.. plus my cool batery box would be useless..

that thing is insane! i would say modify it to increase preformance but man it looks way too cool with that red button. it would take away of the effect to have a blowgun hanging off of it. nice work!

He could have the blow gun mounted inside with a red button to push it....

Lol no wonder it's light, it's sleeved in 4" CELLULAR CORE ABS, which is like foam, so it is light....

I love how you used drain flanges to represent the muzzle

Nice gun, I also suggest pneumatic modded sprinkler valve, you don't regret it when you projectiles go %20 farther....

I pulled %20 out of my ass, but believe me... You WILL notice a difference.

You can pressureize it with a bike pump, portable aircompressor, but what I did was use a 9oz co2 tank and adapted it to a bike filler valve"wich is realy easy to do". so it can use compressed air or co2. I dont like guages so all pf my pumps have guages already on them.

Yea, the co2 container has a on off valve on it. I screw the tank to the tank adaptor of an old paintball gun. then I found a flow through guage that fit in to the outlet on the paintball gun tank adaptor, then I cut the hose whih the bike pump adaptor off of the bike pump and secured it to the outlet on the guage with pipe clamps.. you just hool up the bike pump and regulate the flow of co2 with the knob on the co2 tank untill you reach the desired pressure... the gun is filled from the back........

I would also say to use a modded sprinkler valve. I made my first pnumatic yesterday with a modded valve. It is easy and works great. How did you set up the sprinkler valve?? Looks like somthing from Hell.

Damn fine gun, while not spending a shit load on a bazooka tube...

Sure he could of ripped of the handle of a blowgun and simply of pushed that button, but with that, the *push* stroke would be longer and with a considerable amount of resistence. In which case the electronic actuaction works just good, with its short stroke and little reistance acutivation button. It does make quite a performance dif though. Take of your soleniod and look at the small plastic tubing emerging, compare the inner diameter to that of the 1/8" NPT outlet of your blowgun.

Like your choice of paint which matches the occasion. Very nice gun which suits its purpose, while kept clean.

So you airsoft? Ive considered making a airsoft/ paint ball mortar for quite sometime that im sure such people would bust a nut over. So if you have a IM service I would like to bounce some Q's of you and for your
service I would let you in on my concept. Just some simple questions such as:

-Do many feilds have a rule against the use of sabots on launchers? (I dont get it since I would think on a mortar it would be limited by terminal velocity...)
-What are the average distances that projectiles are trying to be projected?

Just stuff like that.
