That reg is a really good price!! Seems too good to be true, that or its unsafe lol

In the paintball world - those regulators are a joke lol.

Plus it is really aimed at HPA (air not CO2) use only. Regulators like the palmer's stabilizer that can handle CO2 are a bit more expensive for a reason - being able to handle liquid CO2.

Depending on how you mount that tank/reg combo you could be ingesting liquid CO2 - I would recommend keeping both vertical and both warm. After continued use the CO2 tank may become cold or frosty - give it a rest so that your regulator doesn't consume too much liquid CO2 as this can throw off your actual downstream pressures a lot - they will be higher.

Your luck may very - but don't expect super accurate results and definitely still use an adequate safety vent.

Originally, I was going to get the palmer's female inline stabilizer, pressure gauge, and remote hose. But this was only $20, so if it doesn't work it isn't too much of a deal. I bet that eventually, I'll have a palmer's.

I bought one of these regulators a while back. I thought worst case scenario, I end up spending 20$ on a gauge and some braided hose, so I'd only be a few dollars out. Truth about these is, they cannot handle CO2 well at all; however, it has worked adequately with my HPA tank, so it's not a total ripoff

How about if I use an anti-siphon valve or mount the tank vertically?

Well, i got the regulator and tanks... but they aren't comparable/dont thread together! Please help....

they should be both 1/8 NPT threads, if not try to find a piece of copper pipe that fits over both, then rough it up with sand paper and apply generous amounts of epoxy to attach

Or buy a HPA air tank and use the reg on that like its meant to be used. you will get more shots per tank also. HPA is usually considered an upgrade to Co2 due to it being stable, and it wont freeze parts when rapid firing and you dont need nonsense stuff like expansion chambers and stuff

A paintball tank has an ASA thread, they should fit... is the reg not deep enough to reach the threads?
