This gun was made after I saw how good brian the brains looked, its not as good as that one but it is easy to use, and powerful.

Cannon Name- Copper 12 Gauge
Type of Cannon- Pneumatic
Chamber Size- [22mm x 1000mm] (380ml)
Barrel Size- [22mm x 850mm] (323ml)

--Gas Source -- 24litre Compressor
--Valve -- 1/2" Quick Exhaust Valve with a flow of 4.5cv, set-off by a blowgun and filled using a schrader valve. Ball Valve Safty.
--Other Special Details -- Easy to use and handle, comfortable and easy to aim. Made entierly out of copper, QEV rated to 10bar. Joint are either soldered together or using compression fittings, some are threaded.

This Gun has inter-changable barrels including:
22mm x 850mm -- This is the barrel I use the most, it is good because it is compact, and looks really good as its the same length as the chamber and packs a real punch.
22mm x 1900mm -- This barrel is the most powerful but it is very long and dosnt look that good, and needs a long ramrod.
15mm x 1000mm -- The barrel has the highest predicted muzzle velocity, but because the ammo weighs less it cant blast through things as easily.

Pictures Below -- I will get videos and damage pics by the weekend.

Nice gun!

You deserves all the props on welding those copper fittings... Ive tryed and it is truely hard. Secondly I like you used both those copper couplings in the same spot to balance out the look. Also looks easy to use.

On the other hand would you like to enter this gun into the <a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... >Spudfiles Spudgun Build-Off</a>?

What is the flow like on one of those QEV's?Why not just post the pictures of the gun on here its much easyer for everyone to view them.Nice cannon by the way.

The flow for that QEV is 4.5cv, its not very much I know, so I am thinking of making a 28mm with a 22mm sealing face piston valve, and using the QEV to setoff that valve.

I can't wait to see the new version. But you do know the qev is keeping you from higher pressures huh? the rest of the gun can take more..

You deserves all the props on welding those copper fittings...

Just so you know, that's not "welding" it's soldering.

I know the QEV is Stoppig high pressures but my compressor only goes to 160psi anyway and the Valve is rate to 145psi and can take 160psi as iv tryed.

Here Is a picture of the new gun, its not quite finnished though.

Woops!! Call it "the incredible dead volume gun" Why connect a ballvalve so far away from your main valve??I understand it's a safety but the area between theballvalve and the piston is all dead volume...

Also..why the large u bend behind the piston connecting to the qev???
More pilot volume to excaust. That will be bad for performance.

The whole concept of my riot gun was to get as little dead and usseless volume as possible....

Sorry that picture is a bit wrong, the ball valve will go JUST after the 28-22mm reducer, lol that would be a waste of space.

Also the U bend is so the barrel will remain at eye level rather than being really high or low or anything. It is very comfortable to hold as the bottom of the valve Tee acts like a handle.

Thanks for the advice though.

YES!!!! Everything is working spot on!!! It fires every time with the new piston (sealing face screwed not glued).

I was starting to loose hope as it was only fireing every now and again as the piston wasnt working. Also i dumped using a spring, so it open very quick now.

Bloody hell this thing is powerful!!! I dry fired it at some clothes on the washing line from about 5metres and they got hit with air.

Im just so exited now.
