NAME:True Sniper.
TYPE:Pneumatic.
CHAMBER:50mmx30cm class18 PVC (800cc).
BARREL:20mmx80cm class15 PVC(??cc).
GAS SOURCE:Compressed air at 130psi.
VALVE:25mm modded sprinkler valve.

EXTRAS:
Bi-Pod stand.
Muzzle flash hider.
Laser optical sights.
Rifled barrel to come.

MAX VELOCITY:238m/s-780fps.
This is my newest sniper, well really my only true sniper. The gun Features a black paintjob but i ran out of paint and couldn't finish the rest of it so the muzzle flash and the barrel support have no paintjob.I made my bipod from some square bar aluminium i had lying around which is attached to the barrel support and with some metal srew ties.

The opitcal sights i use work faily well with my darts i fire but is hopeless with marbles which is my main amunition.I run the cannon up to 130psi from my compressor but usualy i run it at 110psi.At 110psi marbles go clean out of sight and put large dents in sheet metal and at 130psi just fail to pass right through the sheet, but the darts i use with a nail in the end go through it like butter. The first time i shot a dart with a nail head it went through the sheet at through my shed door and stuck in the wall behind it they have alot of penetration power.

I fill the cannon using a male compressor adaptor with a 1/4 ball valve, but i lost the little lever so i have to use a pair if plyers to open and close it.The valve is just your standard modded sprinkler but with the blow gun connected to the bottom with a nipple going into the valve.

Will you guys stop attatching your scopes with tie-straps?
Seriously, I've made dovetail rails in less than 30 minutes using a file...

I like the simplicity of the gun and thats some good craftsmanship.

It looks better with the peices of white pvc on it. It makes it look like an arctic sniper rifle. Very nice gun.

beebs, so wat if it is a red dot sight off a telescope, it hasnt got a rifled barrel so it isnt like you could shoot it with pin point accuresy anyways, and scopes in australia are so hard to get with out paying an arm and a legg for, so this is the best we got over here and it just adds to the hole look to the gun, so stop being so picky and just admire the craftman ship that has been put into this work of art

This is a real nice gun, I would drill holes in the end coupler that is on the end of the barrel to act as a muzzle brake. Deffinatly spray it ALL black apart from the metal parts. Dose look good, but the guy that say he got a boner over it is slightly over exagerating.

Also is this the one is GGDTed for you?

get yourself a weaver rail, drill and tap for it, and mount the red dot on it. if i were you i'd sleeve that barrel too to keep it straighter for better accuracy.

I second that notion. It is a VERY nice gun though.

Why don't you just glue the scope on? Can't you get a hot glue gun at the dollar store? They're usually under 5 bucks, I use hot glue a lot when I'm prototyping.

If it works, it works. Its his cannon, a very nice one at that, so he can do what ever he wants. It would look better though if it was on a scope rail.
