I have been looking at all the hardware stores and I can not find a 2 inch pvc threaded street elbow. I have found them on mcmaster but they are 10 bucks, same with launchpotatoes.com. Anyone know of a store and or site that sells these for reasonable a price?

I got an elbow that was female threaded on one side and just stuck the shortest 2" galvanized steel nipple i could find on there.

I solvent weld everything, because threading it reduces the pressure rating quite a bit.

i do not know if threaded elbows are easy to get. i always solvent weld also. so i wouldn't know but try bunnings or a specialty plumbing store.

Solvent weld a male adapter to it, unless you are going for the somewhat compact feeling.
