My cannon broke and pipe is stuck inside fitting!

Well, I had my cannon outside on my porch. I have a couch thing out there that it was on. My dog jumped up onto it and knocked my cannon off. It came crashing to my cement porch and broke. The pictures below are what happened. Basically the 1" pipe acting as a nipple between the bushing and valve broke. A bit of 1" pipe is stuck in the bushing. Is there a way I can get that out so I can repair it?

well you should replace those elbows anyway. they are dwv and not meant for pressure.

Meh, I've taken it up to 120 PSI and I haven't had any issues. I couldn't find any non-DWV elbows. I just want to repair this one, it is my cannon. I am building a new cannon pretty soon with a solenoid valve instead of my ball valve right now.

Yeesh, thats tough. I would suggest either replacing the elbow or getting a dremmel (sp?) or lathe to file/grind it out.

Take a piece of ¾” pipe and sand it down to were it’ll slide into the 1” pipe and use that to fix it, or just replace it all…

A Dremel I have. I never would have thought of that. Although if I go too far I could wreck the fitting. any other suggestions?

EDIT: You can see in the plans the 1" pipe nipples. http://www.phreakyourgeek.com/basicpneumatic.php

If you just want to fix it, replace the elbows.

Lowe's and The home Depot don't have pressure fittings, they are all DWV. I really don't want to order on-line.

They should have them up to 2"

lol, you are never going to get that dwv past the watchful eye of spudfiles.
i would sugest a big file to grind the pipe out. but are new elbows realy that expensive?

No, but I don't understand how to get the elbows off. Was I not supposed to glue my cannon together?
