used WD-40 once and ended in a nasty muzzel fire with was hard to put out! I'd use some sort of deoderant or even carby starter it works really well.

your wd40 can wont work unless its from the 1980's

the initial compressant was changed from that favorite combustible mixture to co2 because it had that infamous rep of 14 year old wanting to play "flamethrower"

so they tried to make it so you werent as likely to blow off your freakin hand back to a stub.

But if you read the back of whatever you are going to consider useing you can normally tell if it would be good or not.
stuff with hydroflourocarbons, propane, butane, etc.

as far as axe changing it's formula you may be correct, I used to use the round lid can and it worked good. I attempted to then move to the kind without a cap and it failed miserably.

i haven't tried silicone spray in a cannon but i did have an old juice bottle that i put a lantern sparker in and i used to try fuels in there to see if they went boom, i would just spray something in there, cover it for a few seconds and shake it, and see how the fuel performed. i remember that the silicone spray worked particularly well, but i never tried it since i had been having such good success with static guard. if you get the right stuff tho, the silicone lube is great.

Either use ether (starting fluid), or wait for your stuff to use metered propane. And eventually maybe you can move on to MAPP gas. Just making that switch made my big gun much louder and more powerful, although constricting the barrel from 2in to 1.5 may have had a significant impact also.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.

I can still "flamethrower style" with wd-40.

tag bodyspray also works, seriously though, look at the back of the can for propane, isobutane and butane.
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

I know you can, but nearly as well as you might have been able to with an oldschool can, but I still think that the idea of having the flame reach back into the can is a great...
