(memory is telling that MAP gas is more flammable than propane)
Yes your a right that MAPP gas is more flammable but some people use dww fittings, some dont, it just depends of what you think is safe, dwv has worked under the same conditions that pressure rated parts have in a combustion and both have withstood the pressure. I for one have used dwv on a advanced propane combustion cannon and it has worked fine for me.
Also octane is not active in this forum, he has dedicated his time back to paintballing, IIRC.
Yes there are some dwv, but the elbow is part PW and part DWV rated. It has numerous shots thru it, no probs. However I broke the ignition wire about 2months ago now and will fix it eventually.
And yes my time is back to playing D1 paintball is PSP series. But I occasionally get emails from spudfiles.

Okay, ive just always been wary of DWV stuff.
I know that it must have some strengh though, my very first gun had a 3" DWV chamber. I took it to 60 PSI (air cannon) in freezing temperatures and it never failed. As soon as i learned what DWV was (did not know when i built it) i sawed the chamber in half and threw it away. Did not want to risk a DWV pipe-bomb going of in my face.
Ive done a bit of paintball, hope you do well, its fun stuff.

Well Im gonna be in chicago this weekend to practice with a D2 team, then back home to michigan.
And dwv works fine with combustions (not hybrids). As well does ABS with them. ALWAYs use PW with air cannons, but with combustions DWV/ABS/PW have alll been used before.
