mini inline
<a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/pneumat ... ..what?
Many people have built mini inline cannons (though no one other than Jack has built one THIS small).

do you mean something like this
or are you talking about a combustion cannon, its pretty simple to build hardest part is making sure equalization port doesn't close up

Why would we be opposed to making one? I'm sure everyone here would love to see new cannons. So, no, there is no reason you shouldn't, in fact, we encourage it.LosBuenos wrote:is there any reason I shouldn't make a mini inline

are you thinking combustion or pneumatic? either would work, i have a gun that's a 1.5" chamber and 3/4" barrel with a sprinkler valve, its pretty awesome the valve is modded and its a perfect trigger if held upside down (blowgun pointing down) with the chamber on your shoulder. so yes, that would work fine. make one and post it so we can all see.
and they're great for experimentation, like figuring out how much of a new fuel (say, alcohol) you would need for a given chamber volume. or for portability. and 3/4" barrels are sick because they fit corks perfectly, just stick a nail through and you have simple, powerful, accurate amo.
i made it. it is a combustion, a tiny little inline! it is cute, like i said! but it wont work yet i think it might be fuels or something there is not reason it shouldn't work. ill have to mess around with it. ill get pics when i get around to finishing my homework.

I tried to make one with a 1/2" cpvc barrel, thats small for pvc, I also steamlined it so the couplings wont bulge, and steamlining with brushing is easier with smaller pipe fittings
there it is. my usual fuel (Oust air sanitizer) didn't work in it for some reason but when i put a residual amount of gasoline in the bottom of the chamber and used that bug spray it shot the specially modified arrow the whole length of my 50 foot garage and hit the wall with some good force

- this is my baby cannon, isn't it adorable? i think so, when you hold it and see it close up it is sooooo cuuutttteee! i figured out the fuel thing too. my usual fuel of Oust air sanitizer doesn't work but if i put a residual amount of gasoline in the chamber and use bug spray it can be powerful. it shot the arrow whole length of my 50 foot garage and hit the wall with some good force
