Here is my first try at a gun other than the simple ones. I mounted the stungun coil inside the handle. Trigger switch and safety switch to turn on chamber fan and arm the stun gun is on side of handel I know that I should have done somethings different and I will on the next one. Using mapp gas, just because I had an extra one, I will go to propane after that one is used up. Running 40 psi for a nice hard shot. Chamber 4"x14" barrells are around 2"x4" the 1.5" barrel is a little longer. C:B ratio is around .8 to 1 I have 25 shots so far no misfire. Items to change for the next gun:
Clear chamber
Turn chamber fan other way
Add valve to back of chamber for venting
Red dot heads up scope ( bb gun kind from wal-mart)
Move where the barrel screws on to the back next to the 90
clear barrel
LED chamber fan ( just cause I'm a dork)
and anything else I can afford.

dang thats pretty cool. i was thinking of building somthing similar to that in the near futere... except in not over and under. does it perform the same as if the chamber and barrel were ailigned(excuse my spelling).sweet chamber fan, how big is it? also i like the paint job, looks like a crash test dummy would be weilding it.

oh and one more thing wat is the volume and length of your meter pipe.

King Tator, Thanks I am glad you like it. I used the Burnt Latke web site fuel tool and rat calc to get these numbers. It seems to be right on the money. Here are the smart guess numbers I used.
Chamber volume-219.96 ci
1/2" meter pipe- White sch 40 pvc
using 40 psi
volume of meter pipe is 3.258 ci
length of meter pipe is 10.722 ( Mine is 10.75" long)
Fan fits tight I think it is the 80mm fan. I notched it out so the end plug will screw all the way in.
It shoot everytime at 40psi. I am going to play with it some this weekend and see where the low/high psi number is. This should allow me to shoot a littel softer or harder at will. Hope this answers your questions, have a good one.

This gun is incredible though. Paintjob look great. You really put some time into this beast!

You have definately put more effort into making this than I have for any launcher.

Normally, I just patch it together until it works, and then don't care how it looks, aside from cleaning up any stray electrical tape.

Burnt latke is a great site, thats kinda where i got the idea for building a propane injected spud gun. the fuel tool feature on that website is pretty cool as well. lol i also have a few more questions for you . what was the approximate cost for all the parts? how long did it take you to build it? oh and was that really an 80mm fan? it looks smaller... hmm idk oh well. you should get some vids up on impact shots. you should also set up a chrony and get some fps stats on that bitch lol.anyway thank you for your help ,tatersalad, with all of my questions. cya,

what was the approximate cost for all the parts?
That is like asking a woman how old she is, and my wife might see this.
No really, regulator was about 30.00, Stun gun was 15.00, PVC and fittings were 60.00 I had everything else in the shop. I need to find out if the Gray PVC sch 40 conduit we use at work is OK to use. I am an electrician by trade and have just about any size 8" to 1/2" available with fittings. I could cut my cost way down if it is just as good.

one week after work, after honeydo jobs, after kids in bed.

I haven't measured it but it took very little sanding to get it to fit tight in the 4" female adpter. I had several of them from old computers.
