Hello all, Here is my 2nd try at a gun. I like this one alot. No straps, no zip ties, and not as heavy. It is a 14"x4" chamber, 1.5 and 2" barrels, 1.5 is slip thru and the 2" you can push the potato all the way to the 90. I spent some time sanding and filling the fittings to get a clean pass on it. The small switch is a 3 position with down being fan only, middle off, up fan and arms the trigger button. It has a stun gun ignition in the handle, red dot sight chamber fan----well I don't think I need to explan that much you can see the pic's It has shot hard every time at 60 psi propane. Oh, I love the propane/Mapp gas holder, I made it from two of the little fire putter outters holders like you see in a big truck or boat. Let me know what you think.
Any one got an idea for a name? I have to name all my guns.
Notice the pic with the led's on the chamber fan and the stun gun sparking.

Speaking of the chamber, where'd you get all the clear pipe? Did you just bite the bullet and buy three sticks, (4", 2", and 1-1/2"), from somewhere, or did you get some scrap to use?
BTW, like your plane.

I found a place in Evansville, IN that sells it by the foot, the clear items on the gun is all they have. They did not have the other fittings. It is still very expensive. I will find there contact information if anyone wants it. It is very interesting to watch the chamber when it shoots. It lights up more than I thought it would.

The clear parts to make this gun were $189.00 shipped to me. All I had extra was 12" of clear 4" as I had to buy 2'. The other items were sold cut to length. That is alot of money for me for a potato gun but it was worth it, I will have this gun for a very long time. My wife thought I was crazy when I told her that I wanted clear PVC for my B-Day last week.

This is a well built cannon. All the clear does look really good, it's like you got 1 of a kind. You said up posistion on the switch is for the fan and arms the trigger butten. Question -- Is the fan running when you fire it? If so, doesn't that take away from ignition? Or do you have 2 different battery packs?

Yes, the fan runs when I fire it. I use two 9v batterys one for the fan and one for the stun gun. The toggle switch is DPDT so it has two different set of contacts on the back. That way you can use two batterys and still keep them isolated. The stock fans are a little weak on 1-9v, I like to fiddle with things- so I removed a few turns from the windings on the fan, that droped the ohms and now it runs strong on a 9v. It will run the battery down a little sooner but still runs for a long time.

Dude, I love the looks on this gun. You should get some pics from a nightfire. That would be flippen sweet.

I have been hurling potatos tonight with it. WOW, it lights up bright blue with the leds on the fan and booom. Looks like you stuck a Q-Beam spot light in it when it fires. I expected it to look like fire (red) but the light is more white than red. May be because of the blue tint on the pvc. Anyway hope everyone has a good weekend.

dude, take a picture of it like I said in the last post. There really aren't many pics of night shots from clear guns out there. Just take a short video with your camera and save a still frame of it.
