Stun guns can arc a lot farther than electric bbq ignitors, and cost about the same. I would go with a stungun.

Really? How much are your stun guns? I get BBQ ignitors for about 10 USD. But yes, I hear stun guns work much better. And just for future reference, you can get BBQ ignitors at most places where grills are sold.

iPaintball, you're slightly confusing. Both types of BBQ igniters are electric.
Piezoelectric "Clicky" BBQ Igniter: $10-15
Battery Powered BBQ Igniter: $20-25
Stun Gun: $20-a lot

Stun Guns rnage from $12 to $80. But for igniting things you only need a $12, but for stunnin people its better to go $80

Edited by MrCrowley, don't do that again its a pain to re-write your message.

Yes, I am aware of that. When he said "electric" BBQ ignitor, I just assumed he meant the battery powered variety.

I like stun guns. Much more menacing sounding. But, an electric grill ignitor will certainly do.
They used to sell the electric ignitors at Menards (a home center here in the mid west). Well, they quit before I got around to buying once. Ever since, I haven't seen them anywhere. So I just use stun guns.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.
