I realize this is kind of an old post but could you explain how you integrated the piston. Right now I was looking into a Heat-activated emergency release valve but that requires a power source. Burst discs are good but I do not want to disassemble my gun everytime I shoot it.

damn i always thought of makin a piston hybrid,even dre up the plans, are u the first to do it on this forum?

okay, every time i come on this website, I MUST look at this gun. I have never made a hybrid myself, however i just love this design because i looks like some sick post apocalyptic gun. nice ! :twisted:
