Hey guys. I've been really busy for a while now, mostly from homework, so I haven't been able to post this yet.
This is the hybrid that I've been working on for a LONG time now. I bought the first parts in august last year.
I finished it (to this point) about a month ago. Because of homework I haven't been able to shoot it other than a couple dry fires. I'll update when I get some damage pics.
Specs...
Chamber- 2" x 22" total
Barrel- 1" x 60"
Ignition- 60,000 volts through an automotive spark plug
Breech- 1" union
Other features...
Trigger is push button on top of back grip.
Safety is under oxy tank.
Fueling through quik connect.
I really like how the brass, copper, and tank color contrast the paint.
Now for some pictures!
Here's the gun before paint...
Here is the mapp gas meter...
And the oxygen meter...
The finished gun, minus the stand...
The barrel was somewhat polished and then put clear spray paint on it...
I chose black and almond for the paint...
Bottom view...

Front right...
Left side...
Right side...
Tell me what you think! (I know you will.)

I think I know why it looks like his. It's probably because of the mapp and oxy tanks on each side like in his striker.
On the mapp meter there is a regulator feeding into the meter pipe through a normally open 3 way valve. You set the reg to the right pressure via the guage on the end of the meter pipe. When you have it set to the right pressure, you depress the lever. This closes the connection from the reg to the meter pipe and opens a connection from the meter pipe to the gun, via the orange air hose.
The oxygen is fed in and measured by chamber pressure. It's +3psi for each x mix after 1x.

Looks like really neat work. Describe and show how you are implementing the burst disk, if you are using one. If not, let's see your piston setup. How many X are you firing or plan to fire?
What will you use for ammo?

The burst disc goes in the 1" union seen here...
As said above, I havnt had much time. I've only fired at 2x dry fire. I plan to go to 5x.
Ammo can be anything but one thing is c-cell batteries. Or 1 inch ball bearings... But only if I make a backstop to catch them. They're $2 each.

Damn, I love that thing. It looks mean and sleek. Excellent job! I'd like to know how many shots you get out of an O2 tank. Oh, how much was that O2 regulator? It looks attractive.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm not yet sure how many shots I'll get.
The reg was in a torch kit that I got at atwoods. It was $50.
And yes, the most custom part is the steel end cap that I threaded for the spark plug. Everything else was bought in countless trips to lowes.

Very nice hybrid. I particularly like the metering setups (clean).
I also like the use of PVC for aesthetics. I was half expecting some replies along the lines of "dOOD UR UESING PVC 4 A HyBIRD Y U DO THAT????".
